For nearly a decade, I searched for a way to heal my back pain. It was a long, frustrating journey filled with uncertainty and setbacks. Five months ago, I started using Lifewave Phototherapy patches, and my recovery took a turn I never expected. This is my story of moving from paralysis to regaining strength, energy, and hope through stem cell therapy and these innovative patches.

The Beginning of the Struggle

Back in Christmas 2018, I returned from an incredible cycling trip in Italy, conquering famous climbs like Stelvio, Gavia, and Mortorolo. At just 5 feet tall with strong thighs, I was built for hills and felt unstoppable. But my body had other plans. The pain I had lived with for years suddenly escalated into paralysis.

One morning, I woke up unable to move. It was terrifying. I thought I had suffered a stroke. After scans, MRIs, and visits to chiropractors, physiotherapists, and specialists, the only medical advice was to undergo spinal fusion surgery. At 40 years old, I wasn’t ready to permanently fuse my L4 vertebra, especially since my L5 was already fused to my sacrum naturally. I decided to keep searching for alternatives.

Discovering Stem Cells

My son, a big Joe Rogan fan, kept urging me to try stem cells. He said, “For God’s sake, get stem cells.” But in New Zealand, stem cell treatments were not available, and I believed they had to be injected directly into the back, which seemed risky and inaccessible.

Then, during a Reiki training session, I shared my story. The landowner mentioned stem cells again, telling me about her daughter who avoided surgery during Covid by using certain supplements that supported stem cell activity. This sparked hope. After a month of trying these supplements, I noticed I could get out of bed without pain and was sleeping through the night.

Lifewave Phototherapy Patches Changed Everything

In October last year, I was introduced to Lifewave Phototherapy patches through a podcast guest. These patches are designed to stimulate the body’s natural healing processes, including stem cell activation, without needles or drugs. They work by reflecting specific wavelengths of light back into the skin, encouraging cellular repair and reducing inflammation.

Since starting the patches, I have experienced:

  • Improved sleep quality, with fewer night wakings

  • Increased energy and better mood throughout the day

  • Reduced back pain, allowing me to hike hills again

  • Faster recovery after physical activity

The patches have become an essential part of my daily routine. They support my body’s healing in a gentle, non-invasive way.

What I Learned Along the Way

My journey taught me several important lessons:

  • Persistence matters. I didn’t give up after years of pain and setbacks.

  • Explore all options. Sometimes the answer isn’t obvious or available locally.

  • Listen to your body. Healing takes time and patience.

  • Support natural healing. Supplements and therapies that encourage the body’s own repair can be powerful.

  • Stay open to new ideas. Lifewave patches were something I hadn’t heard of before, but they made a real difference.

Moving Forward with Hope

Today, I am hiking hills again, sleeping better, and feeling more energetic. My back is not perfect, but it’s improving steadily. Stem cell therapy, supported by Lifewave patches, gave me a path to recovery I didn’t think was possible.

If you are struggling with chronic pain or injury, consider exploring therapies that support your body’s natural healing. Talk to healthcare professionals, research options, and stay hopeful. Recovery is a journey, but it is possible.
